Yogeshwar Singh Batyal

Yogeshwar Singh Batyal is an alumnus of Sainik School Sujanpur (H.P). He did his B.Sc (Hons), M.Sc (Hons) in Mathematics from Centre for Advanced Studies in Mathematics, Panjab University, Chandigarh. After completing B.Ed and M.Ed from the same university. He is currently H.O.D Mathematics Department in a prestigious public school in Chandigarh.

Expert in his own field he has been instrumental in sending many students to IITs and other prestigious Engineering collages all over India. He created war games based on mathematics which are very popular amongst the students across the globe.


Yogeshwar was invited to by the French Embassy to participate in mathematics conference on “Narayana’s Cow” and “Fibonacci Rabbits.

He was the part of University student’s delegation deliberating on solution to “Fermat’s Last Theorem.

He has given many motivational lectures involving Science and Spirituality in various Institutions all over North India.

His areas of specialization are Analytic Number Theory, Topology and Probability Statistics.

He visited NASA for a space camp leading a group of 21 students in August 2008.

He is an associate member of the Aeronautical Society of India

Mr. Yogeshwar Singh Batyal together with Mr. Mukul Sharma are regional co-ordinators for ARSSDC in Chandigarh and have been leading the Vivek High School team for 3 years.
