Qualifying Round

Your team must register with the Competition organizers to receive key materials not included here. Only entries from registered teams will be considered for advancement.

This is the first year of the Indian National competition which will serve as the quarter finals for the International Space Settlement Design Competition.

Registered teams will be sent an RFP (Request for Proposal) for designing a space settlement, and submit a 40 paged proposal addressing requirements of the RFP.

Eligibility

High School students (8th through 12th grades), and not studying in a full-time college or university curriculum as of 15 April (typically between 14 and 18 years of age, not older than 18 years of Age.

Participation Procedure

Register - Qualifying Round

This competition is strictly a team competition. We recommend a team of 12 members, but smaller teams have successfully participated in the past. Register your team to receive the RFP and other important documents.

Submit Proposal on time

Following the requirements mentioned in the Request for Proposal (RFP), prepare a proposal answering as many requirements as possible, and submit it in PDF format by the deadline mentioned on the website or as instructed over email notifications.

Indian Nationals - Live

20 teams will be selected to participate in the Live competition. 5 teams from the competition will advance to the semifinals, and the remaining teams will be allowed to resubmit to the Asian Qualifying Round for another shot at the semifinals.
